Any Registered Voter may vote by Absentee Ballot.
Applications for Absentee Ballots will be available 75 days before an election. Please click here to request an Absentee Ballot Application. Applications must be printed, signed, and returned to the Clerk’s Office. They can be mailed, scanned, faxed, dropped off at our office or one of our secure election drop box locations.
Registered voters can request an absentee ballot online through the State of Michigan absentee voter request form. It is the quickest way to reach us, but unfortunately only available to those with a Michigan ID.

8am – 5pm M, T, Th, F and 8am – 7pm on Wednesdays
Our South Washington Elections Unit is open to the public 40 days prior to the election. It has free parking and is located on CATA route #2, at 2500 South Washington, with the most convenient entrance in the back of the building.
